Description

I am a therapeutic arts practitioner and facilitator, who is interested in using drama and the arts in health & education to support mental well-being. I am also a Trainee Arts Therapist, studying an MA in Drama & Movement Therapy at The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.

Recently, I have been working in forensic psychiatric services, delivering arts and activity interventions, with a special interest in creative health.

Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including Secure Hospitals, Pupil Referral Units, Special Education Schools, Care Homes, Youth Theatres, Community Groups, and Higher Education.

I am also an Associate Lecturer at Goldsmiths University, delivering classes in Disability Arts, Community Arts, Autobiographical Performance, Cabaret Performance, Masculinity, and Technology in Performance.

My research interests include playfulness, masculinity, and participatory arts. I am also interested in the use of arts therapies for chronic pain and palliative care.

In 2020, I established The Road Zine with a writer and a designer. This is a quarterly publication that combines art and poetry focused on exploring mental health. We have recently began offering a range of workshops and bespoke courses for community groups and organisations.

I am fully DBS checked and have a full clean drivers licence.
